The Clinicians at BAMSI provide support, coordination of services and advocacy to youth and their parents/caregivers enrolled in the program. The Clinician ensures the voices of youth and families are heard throughout the wraparound process and facilitate the provision of creative, customized services and supports to youth and families that enhance their lives and lead to positive outcomes.

BASE is a therapeutic after-school program committed to enhancing the social, behavioral and emotional skills of children, ages 6-12, who present with serious behavioral challenges and mental health needs.

Qualifications:
Masters Degree in a clinical discipline (i.e. Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology, Marriage and Family, Mental Health Counseling)
Experience working with latency aged youth and in an after-school program preferred.
Experience in navigating all of the child/family-serving systems and experience advocating for family members who are involved with behavioral health systems strongly preferred.
Must demonstrate sensitivity to cultural diversity and an ability to accept families, children and youth unconditionally without judgment or blame for the challenges they face.
Ability to communicate effectively with service providers and administrators, to work independently and as part of a team, and to embrace the system of care principles and family systems
Must possess excellent computer, coordination, facilitation, mediation, time management and organizational skills.
Knowledge and understanding of the wraparound process and systems thinking and processes.
Ability to partner with families in the development and delivery of services.
Ability to work adjusted schedules during school vacations and summer months.
Must possess a valid drivers license in state of Massachusetts.
