Position Summary(The broad scope, function and purpose of the work to be performed)
This position has overall responsibility for the operations of a single site facility. Responsible for completing operational warehouse tasks, providing leadership for a direct report, maintaining process control and continually mine operational efficiencies. Oversee operational and special projects as they arise
Essential Duties/Functions(Duties and functions which are essential to successful performance in the position)
Ø Insure all operational and customer service levels and processes are met and followed on a daily basis.
Ø Manage the destruction, retrieval and inventory management process. Deliver high levels of customer service.
Ø Maintain areas such as capacity planning, process/SLA compliance, box tracking, rework, etc...
Ø Manage the operational efficiencies of each facility by analyzing reports, extrapolating future results and proactively correcting negative trends/inefficiencies.
Ø Maintain a level of direct involvement in understanding issues relative to customer satisfaction and if necessary resolve chronic issues.
Ø Train, develop and coach direct reports in hiring, staff development, discipline, policy implementation, chain of command and other employee related processes.
Ø Utilize resources to ensure that operational processes are in line with system capabilities.
Ø Oversee facility compliance to Diversified, local code and FM guidelines.
Ø Interacts with customer service and account management to assure superior customer service to both external and internal customers by providing accurate and timely follow through on all inquiries.
Ø Prepares related departmental reports for management, evaluates processes to ensure optimization of resources in relation to staffing and systems
Ø Has the authority to hire or fire, or make suggestions or recommendations as to the hiring, firing, advancement, promotion, or any other changes of status given particular weight.
Ø Performs all other duties as assigned by management
MinimumQualifications (Minimum qualifications and requirements needed to perform the essential duties/functions)
Ø Associates degree with business related focus is preferred
Ø At least 3 years experience in the business service sector, preferably in warehouse operations and/or inventory management
Ø Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and able to pass a background and drug screen
Ø Proficient with technology, ability to determine optimal solutions to complex problems, flexibility to adapt to change, good written and verbal skill with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Ø Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
