Job Summary: Oversee billing and coding efforts for designated CMG/CSG providers. Perform abstract coding. Perform chart documentation reviews as necessary. Assist in training providers and staff on current rules and regulations when applicable.
Qualifications:Bachelor s degree with a major in Medical Information Management or related field or 3 years experience as coder in a medial clinic environment. Must possess current coding certification (CPC, CCS-P, etc). Above average verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to maintain highest level of confidentiality of sensitive information. Knowledge of insurance company, Medicare, Medicaid, and government regulations and requirements.
