Compensation:
$110,000 to $120,000
Job Summary:
The Collaboration Expert is a sales overlay position supporting the Account Management team. Their primary function is to sell web collaboration product into existing and new customers.
Responsibilities:Develop, negotiate, and implement business contracts and sales with Fortune 2000 companiesExecute against quotaUnderstand customers current and future communication requirementsUnderstand and articulate the differentiators and capabilities of all PGi offeringsOffer solutions and industry best practices on existing product features, solutions, technologies and processes that fit the customer needsProvide meeting solution recommendations based on client needPrepare and deliver executive level presentationsWork with sales leadership and account management team to formulate and execute account plans and sales/business development strategiesLead strategic planning for new business development leveraging industry contacts for new market nichesProvide reports to sales leaders on market trends and forecastingMeasure and analyze results and develop action plans where corrections are neededProvide technical support for pre-sales engagements to remove technical objections to prospective salesStay current with product enhancements, upgrades, and understand the impact to existing and new customersProvide expertise on competitor products and how to best position PGi solutions against such productsValidate customer opportunities technically and provide robust solution designsAssist in finalizing salesProvide direction and supervision on hand-off to post-sales support staff
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
Experience:6 years of experience in a Sales Executive roleKnowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, global networking, Unified Communication, Streaming Video or Webcasting, Collaboration SaaS Solutions, Telecommunications (TDM, ITFS, general Telco knowledge), Enterprise Communications, Web Communications, Learning Management System (LMS) and or Online Training Solutions.Familiarity with programming techniques (VB, C++, internet development, ASP, JSP, XML/XSL, Web Services) Experience with relational databases and applications (Exchange, Oracle, MS SQL, Sybase, SharePoint, etc.)Practical exposure to Windows, Unix/Linux, MAC OS XKnowledge of and ability to use Web Conferencing tools (WebEx, Adobe, Microsoft Live Meeting, Go to Meeting, InterCalls Genesys, AT&T Connect, etc.)
Knowledge, Skill, Abilities:The ability to analyze customer needs and provide applications and services to meet these needs. This can include reviewing benefits of existing PGi solutions or working with prospect on a customer specific application.Ability to convey solution benefits to both business and technical audiencesExcellent oral and written communications and presentation skillsStrong consulting and needs assessment skillsCustomer interface and selling skillsStrong technical knowledge base and excellent problem solving skills
