Job Description
BGE is seeking a college intern for its Demand Response unit for the 2012 Summer Internship Program.
Responsibilities for this position include:
*Working with the program specialist, product managers, and customer information analyst, to ensure database issues are properly documented, summarized, and closed.
*Participate on the PeakRewardsSM project team including program development, new process development, UAT, and quality assurance.
*Participate on PeakRewardsSM marketing events enrolling customers and promoting positive impressions for the program.
*Update Residential Demand Response Unit business process definition documents (BPD's).
*Perform data validation for PeakRewards systems.
*Assist in budget preparation, variance analysis, and other finance related reconciliations, as needed.
*Perform ad hoc special projects as needed.
Successful candidate must currently be enrolled at an accredited college and majoring in Business or Management. Economic courses a plus.
Currently studying towards a four year degree at an accredited college and degree is related to the work being performed in the unit.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
Demonstrated ability to use personal computers.
Demonstrated ability to model BGE Core Values.
Demonstrated ability to work with others.
Location: G&E Building (downtown Baltimore)
