SolarCity is looking for a Commercial Account Manager who will be managing multiple commercial accounts. S/he will manage multiple accounts from HQ to ensure the best service while the projects are spread across the entire US.
Manage multiple multi-state large portfolio strategic accounts using Microsoft suite: office, excel, schedule, power point regularly to create job budgets & schedules for multiple commercial projects
Drive risk and crisis management
Set and manage the expectations of commercial accounts
Act as a point of contact for commercial accounts during the operations phase of the project
Oversee and help drive production in operations, interconnection, incentive, and design teams to ensure projects are staying on the appropriate timeline
Mange the roofing warranty reinstatement process
Review project budgets and schedules and report to the SolarCity executive team and commercial accounts
Drive other projects as required or as business needs change
Degree in Project Management or Engineering preferred
PPM (Professional Project Management Certificate) preferred
3-5 Years Field/Commercial Construction Experience required
Customer relationship/account management experience
Ability to read construction plans and understand construction design process
Experience in job permitting
Ability to adapt and work in new situations
Ability to learn new computer and project navigation systems
Detail-oriented, resourceful and able to manage shifting priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Ability to positively and effectively interact with internal and external customers
Regular, reliable and predictable performance required
Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal screen. Additional pre-employment driving and drug screens may be required based on job responsibilities
