JOB DESCRIPTION

Requires four yeardegree in a related field and six years experience in construction quality control for large scale material handling, airports, distribution centers, or industrial production line construction and commissioning.

Shall be the company's "expert" in qualitysystems, keeping up with industry best practices and tools, implementing new and improving current systems and protocols and driving change through the organization.

Must have knowledge of construction and regulatory codes for mechanical, electrical and plumbing as well as specialized millwright functions.

Shall: Ensure the Quality Control plans projects follow protocols and are effectively implemented; Review daily site observations and inspection reports; Verify that work, re-work and materials are compliance with contractrequirements; Collaborate on solutions with Superintendents on any non-conforming segments and oversee the removal and inspection of replacement or fix of defective work; Coordinate and verify that all on-site and off-site testing and inspections are performed in accordance with protocals, specifications and contracts; Support project teams and safety officers to ensure safe procedures on project sites; and Maintain and update Daily As-Built Drawings.
