JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY SUMMARY
Responsible for the overall maintenance and upkeep of all commercial properties under the direct supervision of the Commercial Property Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs interior and exterior cosmetic repairs that may include painting, dry wall patching/install/repair, floor replacement/repair and other necessary repairs to maintain a high level of functionality and professional appearance.
Responsible for the building’s preventive and predicative maintenance that may include plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Engages in ground maintenance activities to ensure parking lot and exterior surroundings are accessible, safe and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
Responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owed by the company.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all building occupants, management and coworkers while working in a team environment.
Must be available to work after general office hours, week-ends and Holidays and in emergency situations as needed.
Be aware and operate within OSHA standards at all times.
All other job related duties as assigned by supervisor.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Must be in good physical condition to exert 20 to 50lbs of force on occasion, and/or 10 to 25 lbs. of force frequently.
Frequent bending and stooping is required.
Must be able to use necessary hand tools, power tools, and other equipment.
Maintains a valid Driver’s License and be insurable under company insurance provider/program
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED required. Two (2) year technical degree from an accredited college in an applicable field is preferred. Two (2) year experience in commercial facilities maintenance is preferred. HVAC and Boiler experience is a plus.
