Description * Responsible for increasing the profitability of existing products and providing input in developing new products for the company

* Help to develop new ideas based on industry experience and contact with customers and prospects

* Define product release requirements

* Work with marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer

* Serve as the internal and external speaker for this product offering, occasionally working with the sales channel and key customers

* Responsible to manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities

* Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers

* Drive a solution set across development teams (primarily Development/ Engineering, and Marketing Communications) through market requirements

* Provide the sales team with necessary technical expertise to enable them to sell the product, including printed and electronic promotional material, product training and relevant clinical papers

* Prepare product forecasts and monitor inventory levels

* Reviewing product data to ensure that the field force is kept up to date on new developments regarding the companies or competitors' products

* Assist with the development of the annual marketing plan

* Act as point of first reference for all product related inquiries and work collaboratively with clinical research and regulatory to address any issues

* Bachelor's Degree
* Experience in a relevant healthcare or medical market to understand customer problems and find innovative solutions for the broader market
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong knowledge of OR (Operating Room) environment and procedures
* Knowledge of medical terms and surgical interventions

* Master's Degree or MBA

* Technical understanding and skills to transmit market requirements to R&D
* Good understanding of marketing strategies and development of marketing material
* Ability to travel domestically and internationally
