span Commercial Underwriting Manager job br $115k - $120k br   br International company located in Mercer County is seeking a Commercial Underwriting Manager to structure deals and pricing, to support negotiation with all relevant sales channels, to issue policies, and to manage a team of Commercial Underwriters. br   br The Commercial Underwriting Manager is responsible for making critical decisions concerning the best options that suit customers’ needs, including pricing and wording, and for creating quotes for new business applicants and renewal policies, while growing a profitable book of business. This manager will support the acquisition and retention of clients by active communication with all sales channels including brokers and representatives of external networks. br   br Duties: br -Sales development and commercial underwriting experience: br - Review applications submitted by Direct Sales and those submitted through indirect sales (brokers and agents). br -Price renewal policies and prepare proposals for the Pricing Committee when terms are over local delegations and additional approval levels are required. br -Prepare a Write-up for Group Commercial Underwriters and for Pricing Committee review when terms are over local delegations br - Determine what coverage is available, premium to be paid and other terms required in accepting the risk br - -Develop new Riders in cooperation with other departments (Risk, Claims and Legal) br -Analysis of policy performance br - Work closely with the Commercial Support Functions to ensure a timely and efficient service to Sales Agents, Intermediaries, Clients and Prospects. br   br Qualifications: br -Degree educated in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Banking or equivalent. br MBA preferred. br -Min of 3 years managerial experience, preferably in financial or banking organizations beneficial. br -Good understanding of Commercial & Risk Underwriting and claims matters and Credit insurance contracts and procedures br -Extensive knowledge of proprietary systems and processes br - A good understanding of Credit insurance, including legal aspects br - A clear understanding of current economic climate and how it affects the market br Strong communication skills to explain and defend the position of the company and ensure profitable business br span style='color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-family:Times New Roman;font-size:12pt;font-weight:normal;font-style:normal;' Qualified candidates please send your resume to a href='' /a /span br   br   br /span
