government and commercial clients. Sabre Systems, Inc.
is currently recruiting for a Commercial Wireless
Security Engineer to work in Aberdeen, MD.
Candidates will work in a challenging environment
supporting the Department of Defense and other
specialized customers in the Aberdeen MD area.
Successful candidates will engage in supporting
solutions aimed addressing security concerns associated
with the military adaptation of commercial cellular
technologies. The position will involve evaluation of a
broad range of mobile wireless communications
technology, products and solutions for application to
current and future military networks and systems.
Duties include:
Support design concepts focused on leveraging
commercial wireless cellular products for integration
into military tactical networks
Evaluation and analysis of wireless infrastructure
solutions and products developed by third parties as
well as in house
Modifying and adapting commercial wireless
technologies
Conducting vulnerability analyses and security risk
assessment for commercial wireless products
Orchestrating laboratory demonstrations associated
with new wireless technologies
Understanding the implications in Military security
requirements on wireless
Requirements:
Candidate must have a Bachelor s Degree and 10+ years of
related experience. In addition, this position requires
firsthand knowledge and experience with software and
hardware interfaces aspects of disparate commercial
wireless products such as WiMax, 3G and 4G cellular,
etc.,as well as the infrastructure for the same.
Knowledge of vulnerabilities and security risks for
these technologies , as well as the ability to reduce
the security risks for the same.
Candidate must have an active DOD Secret Clearance.
