The Commodity Manager will play an integral role in managing and controlling T-Mobile's Indirect spend through strategic sourcing, supplier and spend management activities. This independent contributor role will own and drive strategic sourcing initiatives including Request for Proposals (RFP), Request for Quotations (RFQ) and Requests for Information (RFI). They will also play a vital role in driving T-Mobile's strategic direction within certain 'sub-commodities' that will role into broader commodity strategies owned by the Sr. Contract Manager's within their teams. This role within the sub-commodities would include items such as supplier benchmarking, competitive analysis, creation of a supplier scorecard and acting in a supportive role within the strategic supplier quarterly business reviews. The Commodity Manager will also play a significant role in increasing the deal velocity of the organization (i.e. throughput of negotiations and contracts) while also delivering on spend control initiatives (i.e. executing of purchase orders and other control mechanisms).
* Competitively sourcing Indirect Spend through RFP, RFI and RFQs
* Drafting, negotiating and executing contractual documents including but not limited to Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, Letter Agreements, and Purchase Orders
* Commodity Strategy - supporting the Sr. Contract Managers with their Commodity Strategies by driving and certain sub-commodities within the broader Commodity Strategy.
* Supplier Management - supporting the evolution of Supplier Management within the Indirect Procurement organization through supplier scorecard development and supplier quarterly business review.

* Exposure and/or familiarity with/to strategic sourcing skills (RFx, etc.)
* Exposure and/or familiarity with drafting contractual documents (MSA, SOW, etc.) for goods or services
* Exposure and/or familiarity with Supplier / Vendor Management skills (scorecarding, business reviews, etc.)
* Excellent organizational skills
* Excellent analytical skills
* 1 to 2 years experience in a strategic sourcing or similar procurement role.
* 1 to 2 years experience in a role in which contract drafting was active part of the job duty.
* 1 to 2 years experience in a Supplier Management role.
* Project Management experience in a mid to large size company.
* Experience as an analyst with a Finance, Procurement or related organization.
