POSITION PURPOSE The role of the Marketing and Communications Manager is to ensure all tasks directed for the hotels are implemented at the highest standard and within allocated timelines. These include and are not limited to: PR, marketing, advertising, collateral development, ecommerce and promotions. This position will support internal company communication needs using a variety of communication methods and media, leveraging multiple channels and mediums to effectively promote the companys brand and positioning internally and within the marketplace. This position will make an impact by writing and developing effective and concise internal and external communications. This position will also develop intranet, internal email and print content. Candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills to be considered for the position: Hospitality industry experience. Excellent organizational skills Comfortable, confident and enthusiastic when working within tight deadlines Creativity and idea generating initiatives Proficient and articulate writing skills Develop and maintain an effective company communication strategy and framework Author and publish internal communication materials including but not limited to global and country specific communications and announcements, project based communications, internal newsletters, meeting minutes, and executive and/or business level presentations Actively support and evolve the organizations communication, branding and business strategies Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with coworkers and employees in other departments; Interacts with corporate regional teams, including executives and hotel level management teams Ability to effectively and consistently meet deadlines and production targets while flexible enough to deal effectively with change Proficient skills in Excel and PowerPoint Possesses the ability to create high impact, concise, content specific communications French highly desirable HTML knowledge highly desirable Performs other duties as assigned Supports the Corporate Sales Office by providing corporate communication and administrative support to Regional Director of Sales & Marketing and Director of e-Commerce. Liaises with WIH hotels to execute marketing campaigns. Helps to develop, drive and implement new corporate initiatives and programs for the Digital Marketing Department.
