The Communications Coordinator will support internal communications activities, programs, and channels designed to further Global Revenue and Property Based Systems \(GRPBS\) strategic priorities and goals among the division s employees worldwide, and enhance and boost GRPBS s profile amongst IHG employees globally and hotel operators, as necessary\. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to contribution to internal bi\-weekly and monthly departmental newsletters, oversight of content repository, maintenance of division s intranet/portal content, coordination of department s internal meetings, and events, development of communications collateral and templates, and coordination of communications with other communication groups so that consistent messages are being received by shared audiences, and manage vendor relationships\. Essential Duties and Responsibilities + Proactively research, develop and write content for department newsletter articles \(i\.e\. research and conduct interviews; gather/compile facts, etc\.\)\. + Coordinate logistics for quarterly and annual team meetings, including \(create purchase order, secure location, room set\-up, audio visual, food and beverage, break\-down, etc\.\) and help with planning and pre and post meeting communications efforts \(i\.e\. meeting announcements, call\-in numbers, speaker coordination, presentation template design, content gathering, and distribution of final presentation\)\. + Maintain division s section on the company intranet/portal site, to reflect the latest departmental news, organizational updates, contact information, and resources\. + Maintain version control over content, presentation, templates, and other artifacts \(organizational charts, distribution lists, etc\.\) within the GRPBS communications SharePoint teamspace\. + Develop, maintain and promote division s communications collateral templates, including PowerPoint templates, email templates, memo templates, etc\. for use by all GRPBS employees\. + Maintain and update division s on\-boarding communications presentation given to new hires\. + Develop, maintain and update division fact sheets, GRPBS executive bios, and division presentation \(general overview/\) for use by division employees\. + Develop and maintain annual GRPBS photo library\. + Maintain three\-month GRPBS communications calendar and disseminate with GRPBS senior leaders on a monthly basis\.*

* Education Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience\. BA in Journalism, Communications or English preferred\. Experience 2 to 5 years progressive work related experience with demonstrated technical proficiency related to the position\. Technical Skills and Knowledge + Strong writing, communication and interpersonal skills\. + Strong customer\-focus orientation\. + Fluent knowledge of working within a Windows environment, intranet/online experience a plus\. + Ability to exercise discretion in handling sophisticated and sometimes confidential information\. + Demonstrated ability to influence and communicate with all levels of management and employees\. + Must possess excellent time and project management and organizational skills\.
