DescriptionThe Community Marketing Manager - Field is responsible for supporting, creating, executing and evaluating events, programs and marketing strategies at the local and territory level to uniquely brand Dick's Sporting Goods as the #1 authentic sports and fitness specialty retailer for all athletes and outdoor enthusiasts. Additionally, this person is responsible for driving traffic, sales and profitable results. This position is part of the Marketing Team that supports our Marketing overall goals in conjunction with Dick's Sporting Goods overall corporate goals and brand plan. This person establishes and maintains relationships with our corporate Marketing Team as well as Regional Vice Presidents, Regional Directors, District Managers and all Store Management within assigned territories.QualificationsCommunity Youth Sports Program/Team Packet Program
Build relationships with community teams, leagues, and organizations encouraging them to choose Dick's as their sporting goods retailer of choice.
Increase merchandise sales, traffic counts, customer conversion and Team Packet redemptions through the distribution of related marketing materials, team packets to athletic directors, coaches, teams, schools, leagues and organizations.
Manage and execute the overall strategy and distribution of the Dick's Community Youth Sports and Merchandise Kit Program in each selected territory.
Leverage CYS program to drive in-store registration and shopping events with participating leagues.
Promote the use of Dick's Sporting Goods logo for display on player's uniforms, fields and league locations, league / team websites and related marketing materials.
Work with stores in assigned territory to ensure proper distribution and redemption of Team Packets and CYS kits.

Team Shoe Programs
Captain football and basketball team shoe programs in assigned territory.
Distribute team shoe marketing materials to coaches and athletic directors in assigned territory.
Set up in-store shop nights with teams and leagues to drive team shoe sales.
Develop long-term relationships with schools and coaches to establish customer loyalty.

Marketing Event / Program Execution
Ensures excellent holistic execution and evaluation of all territory level (local, district, market and regional) marketing activities, national events, partnerships and initiatives including Dick's Team Packet Program, Community Youth Sports Program, Mass Mailings, New Store Marketing Programs and other related sponsorship opportunities as directed.
Serve as cross-functional liaison between stores, property management and external partners to ensure execution of programs from conception to conclusion.
Proactively plan, prepare and provide comprehensive support and communication that detail all specifics related to in-store events and programs as directed.
Evaluate qualitatively and quantitatively each event/program and proactively suggest enhanced measures of success.

Sponsorships/Donations
Establish relationships with professional and collegiate teams in assigned territory.
Ensure proper execution of partnerships with teams, events, etc.
Serve as local liaison for community giving and charitable programs.
Implement and execute Dick's Sporting Goods donation web site (Sponsorport).

Miscellaneous
Evaluate and manage territorial Community Marketing budget and expenses.
Assist stores/corporate with key product and competitive information for important sales and promotional events.
Provide feedback to corporate on various territorial and market programs and events.
Develop relationships with vendors, sales reps, and service organizations that do business with our company.
Communicate new and regional product opportunities to our buyers and merchandising organization.
Deliver level of excellence and professionalism on all events, programs or projects as assigned.

Bachelor's Degree
3-5 years of related experience as a regional or company merchandise or marketing professional in a retail or multi-unit environment.
Valid Driver's License
