JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position will play a key role in assisting with new programs or special initiatives. Otherresponsibilities include participating in annual and specialized market surveys and providing analysis of the results. Conduct market pricing and grading of new and existing jobs.

Specific Responsibilities:

* Participate in wage and salary surveys; analyze survey results and recommends changes to the compensation program to maintain compensation objectives and competitive position in the marketplace.

* Conduct job evaluations and price jobs according to market; ensure consistency in job titles; maintaining internal alignment

* Prepare analysis and recommendations to support the validity of evaluations including external market pricing analysis and internal comparability analysis.

* Ongoing audits of internal HRIS data to reveal trends, averages, and outliers (internal comparability studies) to ensure regulatory compliance.

* Ensure FLSA compliance through regular review of all position descriptions.

* Keep abreast of changes in laws that govern wage and salary legislation

* Conduct special projects as required.

* Partner with HR Team on all compensation items.

* Design and produce ad-hocreports as requested; complete analysis and provide recommendations as needed.

* Assist in developing training and/or presentation materials.

* Maintain an on-going understanding of current trends in compensation practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field.

* Strong communication and analytical/problem solving skills.

* Must be proficient in PC-based spreadsheets and databases.

* Working knowledge of HRIS systems. CCP certification is a definite plus

* Demonstrated knowledge of computer software including word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, and databases.

* Strong Analytics skills including advanced excel (vlookup, pivot tables)

* Demonstrated ability to work with confidential material and information.

ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS:

looking for someone that has experience in Job evaluation and compensation. MS Excel is a requirement. A plus would be experience in a global environment, Market Pay software and MS Access.
