Do you have ample experience completing EEO-1 forms from start to finish? Do you advance excel proficiency? Then we have the opportunity for you! We have a temporary 1 month Compensation Analyst job in Houston, TX. You will be responsible for initiating and coordinating data maintenance, analysis and reporting in support of the compensation function and completing the day-to-day operations and administration of the Company’s 401(k) retirement programs and for managing the transition from one compensation software to another (CompAnalyst to PayFactor). To qualify for this position you must have a minimum of 2 years of compensation analysis experience. br   br YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AS A COMPENSATION ANALYS: br •Maintaining automated salary management tools by performing periodic updates of Company information such as jobs, employees, salary structures/grades, etc. br •Matching jobs to survey descriptions and performing initial market pricing for various jobs br •Assisting in revising and maintaining job descriptions br •Participating in and analyzing results of purchased compensation surveys, including the relationship with survey vendors br •Maintaining data, records, job descriptions, job ranking history, and other related activities br •Managing job code creation process for the Company including working with Payroll/HRIS to ensure process conforms to Company policy and procedure br •Coordinating job documentation, job descriptions, databases and tables related to job codes, and job families br •Assisting in developing competitive salary structures that attract job applicants who can offer a long-term commitment br •Monitoring semi-monthly 401(k) employee contribution enrollments and changes, loan deductions and reconcile to payroll system deductions br •Managing the semi-monthly 401(k) funding process with 401(k) record keeper br •Performing statistical reporting of 401(k) data to ensure 401(k) plan limits are accurately followed and that the reporting of earnings information is accurate br   br JOB REQUIREMENTS br •Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field OR relevant job experience br •2+ years of relevant and progressive professional experience as a compensation analyst or HR generalist with advance compensation knowledge and analysis br •Solid written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy br •Advanced organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously br •Knowledgeable of industry changes, legal updates and technical developments related to applicable area of the Company’s business to proactively respond to changing business environment br •Intermediate proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office Package (Access, PowerPoint, Word) with Advanced Excel proficiency br   br /span
