Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the Compensation and Benefits Manager will be responsible to implementation and administration of the Company s Health & Welfare Benefit Plans and leave management strategies; and assessing and implementing the administration of compensation policies, procedures and programs, including salary administration plans, special pay practices, surveys, retirement, performance management and database management. *Bachelor s degree in Business Management, Human Resources, Finance, Economics or related field required, Master s degree preferred.
*Must possess at least five years of benefits management and administration experience.
*Must possess a minimum of five to ten years experience in administration of compensation, including job analysis and evaluation, salary surveys, performance appraisal, database management, Executive compensation, incentive compensation structures, salary plans, etc.
*Strong and proven coordination and execution of company compensation strategies.
*Prior experience showing successful positioning of compensation strategies comparable to external market.
*Knowledge of various job assessment techniques, including point factor and job analysis research.
*Quantitative skills such as knowledge of analytical tools and statistical techniques utilized in compensation strategy (e.g. regression analysis, hypothesis testing ).
*Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment handling a large volume of employee inquiries and requests.
*Must possess strong and proven analytical, organizational, communication and writing skills..
*Ability to consult, interact and support all levels of management.
*Ability to work on multiple projects/assignments and meet deadlines.
*Ability to interact with vendors.
*Ability to present in group meetings, trainings, and one on one interactions.
*Ability and willingness to work in a collaborative team environment.
*Active membership of Compensation Organizations to include World at Work (previous American Compensation Association (ACA0, Long Island Compensation Association (LICA) and Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM preferred).
*Knowledge and ability to create and generate reports and data sheets in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, online systems.
