Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Must have experience in 2 of 3 areas: Compensation analysis, Health/Wellness analysis/ administration, 401K administration
Compensation program analysis and design:
Performs staff support activities to develop, implement and administer compensation policies and programs.
Audits jobs for content and prepares job descriptions reflecting job responsibilities, activities, duties and requirements.
Develops and/or participates in compensation surveys to collect and analyze competitive salary information to determine company's competitive position.
Reviews proposed salary adjustments for conformance to established guidelines, policies and practices.
Assists in development of long term Perceived Value and employee awareness strategies
Assist in in project management of the annual compensation cycle and provides relevant communication to Business Partners.
Benefits Health, Wellness and Retirement analysis and administration:
Designs and implements Benefit programs aligned to business needs.
Manages related 3d party vendors.
Monitors program processes and success indicators and prepares management reporting.
Administers including but not limited to health and welfare plans, FSAs and life insurance, 401k
Serves as liaison between insurance providers and employees, serves as subject matter expert supporting HR Business partners.
Ensures we have proper requisitions, contracts and agreements on file to support each plan. Ensures plan documents are current and accurate for each plan and filed/communicated appropriately throughout the year.
Administers timely and accurate filing of all required compliance notices and 5500 filings. Ensures plans are amended as new legislation or requirements are established.
Supports monthly, quarterly and annual reviews of the plan with vendors, broker and others as necessary.
Partners with broker and vendors to analyze utilization and claims data and identify trends/issues, recommends process improvements and/or plan design changes.
Supports the creation of presentations to the benefits committee and executive team on health and welfare plans.
Supports design of annual benefits and manages open enrolment process including HRIS design and testing, open enrolment communications and training, and audit/transfer of open enrolment data.
Monitors HRIS Benefits needs and designs new or modifies existing systems to meet changing requirements. Participates in the implementation of new modules, releases and/or functionality
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Minimum Required Qualifications for Consideration
A minimum of 5 years of related experience in 2 of 3 areas:
(1) Compensation analysis,
(2) Health/Wellness analysis/ administration,
(3) 401K administration.
Undergraduate degree in Business Administration: Human resource concentration.
Professional qualifications in general HR, Benefits or Compensation
High level of written and verbal communication skills
Ability to present numerical information in a creative and objective manner, high level of MS Office skills
Disciplined project and process management ability
Demonstrated initiative/self-motivation skills
Demonstrated attention to quality/detail and strategic orientation to work.
Demonstrated partnering, collaboration and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and effectively meet frequently changing business-driven timelines.
