Job Description

We're seeking a Compliance and Billing Specialist at our office located at Cascade Station. The Compliance and Billing Specialist is responsible to liaise with clinical programs, billing specialists, and payers to improve billing and collections results, with special regard to service authorizations, denial analysis and resolution, and third party billing processes. The position is also responsible for supporting performance improvement and compliance initiatives, including data collection and reporting, billing policies, contract compliance and documentation tracking that supports the direct service lines of the Youth and Family programs.The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in human services, business administration, accounting, healthcare administration, or a related field. Equivalent experience may substitute for a BA such as two years' direct experience in mental or behavioral health setting, medical billing, or coursework in business management or health care administration.
The candidate must possess strong PC skills, including Microsoft Excel, Database knowledge and web interface applications; have strong competence in healthcare billing practices, coding, and procedures; strong oral and written communication skills; and the ability to multi-task. Exceptional customer services, problem-solving skills, and organizational skills are a must.
