Global Compliance is organized broadly into divisional compliance groups and centralized compliance groups. This position sits in divisional compliance with Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) Compliance.

GSAM Compliance is seeking a Vice President to join our Chicago team. The primary responsibilities of the position will be to serve as the Compliance Officer for our Third Party Distribution and our Shareholder Services Teams to ensure conformance with US regulatory requirements as well as firm policies and procedures. Responsibilities will also include the oversight of external service providers' compliance programs for our 40 Act funds working closely with the Funds' CCOs and Fund Services Team. In addition, this position carries responsibilities for CFTC/NFA compliance matters for GSAM. The individual will work closely with members of the GSAM product and marketing teams. He/she will also interact with other control and support areas (i.e., Controllers, Legal, Tax, etc).? BA/BS
? 5-7 years relevant experience
? Familiarity with CFTC, SEC and FINRA rules
? Must have strong interpersonal, communication, written and presentation skills as well as the ability to handle multiple priorities
? Must be a self starter and ability to work independently
? Must be organized
