JOB DESCRIPTIONWe are adding to our team and hiring a Global Compliance Manager to work in downtown, Denver, CO. This role will assist in all compliance activities including reviewing internal processes, documents and reports, and maintaining and ensuring compliance with internal and external regulatory frameworks. The Global Compliance Manager will work under the direction of the Senior Vice President and General Counsel.
Responsibilities:*Assist in developing a corporate-wide compliance program and participate in developing, maintaining and implementing changes to the firm's compliance policies and procedures for its global operations *Draft, modify and implement company policies.*Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate*Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control related to global manufacturing*Establish regulatory compliance standards by providing guidance and advice on regulatory matters to the business, including FCPA, Antibribery, Antitrust, HIPPA, data privacy etc*Work closely with senior management to ensure appropriate standards are established and maintained.*Assess systems and processes to assure compliance with all appropriate national or international regulations and verify practices and systems are in place to enable compliance initiatives, inspections, and training to take place*Evaluate efficiency of controls and continuously improve them.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS* Bachelor's degree.* 5 or more years of professional work experience. * Experience working as a compliance manager preferably in a manufacturing environment.* Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping. * Ability to analyze and understand legal requirements and regulations.* Ability to work cross functionally and across the organization. * Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).* Ability to travel up to 20% (domestic and international).PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS* Legal or audit experience/background.* 5 or more years of experience working as a compliance manager.* Knowledge of global compliance issues and regulations.* Highest level of integrity and ethics.* Experience working with compliance regulations in the EU and Asia.* Superior organization and project management skills* Excellent interpersonal skills, strong self-awareness, and flexibility.* Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills.* Professional demeanor exhibiting the ability to listen actively and to communicate effectively, persuasively and with confidence.* Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
