JOB DESCRIPTIONJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
GRC process owner: Coordinate the Governance Risk and Compliance program with process and control owners to ensure internal controls are documented and operating effectively.
Develop/Maintain FICO (Finance and Controlling) SOP's: Work with Finance process owners to develop a set of Standard Operating Procedures. Ensure on-going compliance and maintenance of the procedures.
Escheat compliance: Ensure the Company files unclaimed property forms with the respective state governing authorities
Ensure completeness and timeliness of filings.
Coordinate Rep letters / Sub Certificates: Ensure that quarterly Representation Letters (to external auditors) and Sub Certificates (to parent company) are processed timely.
Review representation letters for completeness prior to obtaining Controller, CFO an CEO signatures.
Other Finance compliance: Coordinate with Bulk/Tonnage and Cylendar business finance leads
P-Card compliance: Ensure compliance to Purchasing Card internal policies by reviewing transactions. Work with Procurement department to continually improve the Purchasing Card program
T&E compliance: Ensure compliance to the Travel and Expense policy by reviewing transactions.
Own BancPay (Accounts Payable) system: Point of contact for the Accounts Payable system vendor relationship
Continually strive to use the system to add efficiencies and cost savings to the overall Accounts Payable process.
Develop and present a series of dashboard compliance reports to the Manager of Transactional Accounting
Bachelor Degree Accounting or Finance
Minimum of 8 years experience in Financial Compliance
Minimum of 5 years with Process Documentation
Minimum of 5 years of Supervisory experience
Familiarity with P-Card and T&E Compliance
Sarbanes-Oxley compliance a plus
Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
Strong oral and written communication
