DAT Solutions, a subsidiary of Roper Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: ROP) is looking for a Compliance Representative to join our team in Beaverton, Oregon.



Summary

The Compliance Representative, working in a high performance work team environment, is responsible for assuring the quality and integrity of the DAT Registry through the gathering of transportation industry information such as proper Motor Carrier Authority, insurance verification, and up to date carrier profile. An ability to analyze data received from the DOT website, Customer Directory and D&B is a requisite.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following

*

Check the MC authority of existing customers on an ongoing basis as well as on demand as requested by other TransCore departments and affiliates.
*

Verify insurance coverage on existing carrier base and contact carrier if out of compliance.
*

Train new customers on the use of CarrierWatch and provide ongoing support to these customers.
*

Update carriers watch lists via requests from customers, 3rd party information providers, and internal resources.
*

Analyze data from the Transcore Registry through the use of Siebel, Crystal Reports (Business Objects) and Excel.Report out as needed and/or make necessary updates to the Transcore Registry based on data retrieved and analyzed.
*

Other duties as may be assigned by Compliance Supervisor
*

Handle inbound customer service and billing calls.
*

Provide freight matching service over the phone to carrier and transportation brokers.

Education

High school diploma required.



Experience

Prior experience in a business environment. Experience of working with people as a Team. Transportation Industry background helpful.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Ability to process all incoming customer requests and manual database updates necessary for proper functionality of the CarrierWatch application.

Ability to keep excellent records to accurately organize work tasks. This is accomplished through the use of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
