Job Description:

Job Title: Composite Technician Classification

Shift: 1st Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (M-F)

Overtime and/or Shift Flexibility may be required

Base Wage Range: $16.00 - $18.00/hr (Depending on Experience)

Start Date: ASAP

Job Summary:
The composite Technician Position will assist Engineers and Process Specialist in the construction and testing of composite structures. In addition, the Composite Technician may assist Sales and Marketing with samples, trade show preparation and inspection of Materials.

Responsibilities:
Construction and testing of composite materials Support engineers and specialists with projects, preparing test reports, technical papers, demonstrations, and seminars Maintain Technology workshop - organization, inventories, equipment, supplies Assist in trade show demonstrations and training Estimate work load to establish completion dates Maintain safe and orderly work environment Understand and abide by company policy Understand and comply with PPE requirements Understand and comply with Health & Safety requirements

Academic / Educational Training Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to obtain Certified Composite Technician status

Required Skills / Experience:
Working knowledge of common composite manufacturing techniques (i.e. hand lay-up, vacuum bag, vacuum infusion, RTM, etc) or ability to learn
Hands-on attitude
Attention to detail
Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs.
Must be capable of standing for extended periods of time
