POSITION PURPOSEPerforms moderately complex activities in computer operations. Under limited supervision, sets up, operates, and monitors various computer equipment. Must understand and have the ability to perform all processes on all shifts. This is an intermediate level position; assignments require use of judgment in selecting proper methods/procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSHigh School diploma or equivalent. One to two years experience as a Computer Operator or equivalent, or two to three years experience in Data Processing Operations. Six months experience in a customer service environment with changing priorities and interruptions, preferred. Ability to function as a member of a team. Demonstrated working knowledge of hardware, peripherals and applications. Demonstrated ability to resolve non-routine operating problems. PC operations, Windows environment and office application experience preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must understand and have the ability to perform all processes on all shifts. Must be able to read, write and perform basic math calculations. Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
