Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Configuration Consultant for our IT Consulting division.
This is a great opportunity for candidates with some IT experience who have an interest in configuration and software customization. Candidates can be located anywhere in the US and must be available to travel up to 75% of the time. This is a direct hire, permanent opportunity that offers a competitive compensation package and a great learning environment with extensive growth opportunity.
The Configuration Consultant will work with project teams to customize and configure HP products for our clients. The consultant will work closely with project managers and will independently work on the configurations once parameters and project plans are set.
We are seeking candidates who have a high technical aptitude and have the ability to understand how an end-user utilizes software tools. Candidates must be detail-oriented, task-driven and be a quick learner.
Requirements:
2-3 years previous experience in an IT role Help Desk, Networking or Systems Administration
Experience with HP Service Manager, BMC Remedy or Service Now would be helpful
Ability to work independently
Excellent communication skills
Must be adaptable, work well within deadlines, have the ability to prioritize work and multitask
