Sabre is currently recruiting for a Configuration
Management Specialist, Crane AEA Division, to work in
Crane, IN.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will perform CM functions on
assigned projects and serve as a CM consultant/adviser
to projects and organizations in the AEA Division.
Candidate will perform configuration management (CM)
activities consisting of configuration identification,
change management, configuration control, configuration
status accounting, audit and verification, and data
management across the hardware, software and firmware
under the cognizance of the AEA Division. This includes
test hardware (automated test equipment, general-purpose
test and evaluation equipment) and software (test
program sets, calibration, maintenance, etc.) required
for the performance of repair and sustainment functions.
The candidate will develop and maintain CM process
standards, plans, and procedures common and unique to
division projects and organizations and ensure that
changes to the process methods and processes are
properly approved, communicated and managed. In
addition, the candidate will develop, process, and
maintain CM documentation and provide CM services across
the division by ensuring that technical data is
controlled and produced in accordance with the
applicable CM directives. Candidate will also coordinate
development, submission, monitoring, and disposition of
changes in accordance with applicable CM directives.
Requirements:
Job Requires:
* Bachelor s degree or equivalent in engineering or
physics from an accredited school.
* Ten years of experience in U.S. Navy Configuration
Management.
* Candidate must have experience with Navy
Configuration Management (CM) procedures including:
Configuration Control Board (CCB) processes;
Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Technical
Directives (TDs); engineering change
requests/directives; DoD, Navy, and industry CM
standards and practices; and acquisition policies
and directives.
Candidate must have a current Secret Security Clearance.
