JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Description:
Position performs clerical tasks that support Estimating team and President of company as needed. Responsibilities include the following:Receive, sort, process, log and manage all estimating project information into construction estimating project software (Smartbid.net). Includes preparing, sending and receiving information to and from subcontractors for pricing construction projects.Manage the Smartbid.net software for company.Support Estimating Team by managing information with sub-contractors , and engage them in the estimating process. Gather information for construction estimates. The successful candidate will have the following:1+ years of current experience working for a construction company would be ideal, but not required.3+ years administrative experience working with a small team. Strong knowledge of basic office equipment.Must have strong Excel, Word, Outlook/G-mail skills along with excellent data entry skills. Experience working in project or construction software a plus but not required.Very strong at multi-tasking, and the ability to work in a very fast paced environment.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Highly organized, and detailed with processing information.
