To be successful, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business and a minimum of five years of experience in commercial or industrial construction. In this role you will own the project accounting for large industrial build-outs throughout the United States including contract maintenance, client billing, vendor payables and union payroll. This role also has supervising responsibility for other project accounting staff. li Act as a Business Partner to business unit managers as it relates to Financial Planning and Analysis, monthly profit projections, percentage of completion accounting and reporting, development of annual budgets and post-award reporting and tracking budget to actual. /li li Reviewing customer contracts to set up proper accounting and billing processes, keeping a constant eye on the quality and accuracy of subordinates work as it relates to billing and payables. /li li For contracts and project legal issues and/or audits you will act as a liaison for the company. /li /ul
  br Qualifications: br ul
li Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business. /li li Five or more years of experience in an accounting role in the commercial or industrial construction industry. /li li Excellent communication skills, a strong backbone, and the ability to influence. /li li Union payroll experience is required. /li li Willingness and ability to travel. /li li Comfortable with larger ERP systems, JD Edwards and Peoplesoft are preferred, Timberline or GreatPlains are also relevant. /li /ul
