Responsibilities/Job Description:

The Auditor will serve as a member of the Audit Services group of Spectra Energy reporting administratively to a Manager of Audit Services.
* Work within a team environment to execute audit projects within prescribed time budgets and at a high degree of quality.
* Ensure high quality audit results and well-crafted audit report deliverables.
* Build and maintain effective client relationships.
* Maintain current knowledge of matters impacting, the energy industry, audit and the Company.

Basic/Minimum Qualifications:

* 4-year degree in accounting, business, finance, or other applicable field.
* Minimum of 2 years of relevant audit work experience.

Desired Qualifications:


* Demonstrated ability to apply auditing protocols.
* Demonstrated ability to understand global context/responsibilities of the audit function.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external customers.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and accurately using oral and written communications with all levels of management.
* Demonstrated ability to reason logically, analyze data presented, evaluate the impact of information collected, and draw appropriate conclusions.
* Demonstrated functional knowledge and technical skills.
* Demonstrated advanced knowledge in accounting field.
* Advanced degree such as an MBA.
* Certification such as CPA, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Information Systems Auditor or Certified Information Systems Security Professional.
