Commerce Bank is seeking a motivated and customer focused individual for a Consumer Loan Servicing Representative opportunity.



The Consumer Loan Servicing Representative opportunity position will be responsible for handling of calls related to home equity and installment loan products. Calls are generally with branch personnel at all levels and external customers as necessary. The calls will vary in nature. Employee will complete system maintenance based on customer and branch requests while following documented departmental and bank policies and procedures. Exemplary customer service to both internal and external customers is expected at all times. Regulations set forth by Commerce Bank's Legal, Compliance and Risk Departments including but not limited to Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX), REG X and REG Z must always be adhered to.

Responsibilities of the Branch Hotline Department include:

* Call center environment; accept incoming calls from internal customers (branches, loan officers, internal departments). Most calls will be questions related to our loan products (installment loans, home equity loans, home equity lines of credit, executive lines of credit)

* Complete system maintenance for address changes, name changes, ACH requests/updates and other account updates as needed or requested

* Process controls for advances to accounts when necessary but only in accordance with set regulations

* Process returned mail; research for new address, make necessary updates when appropriate

* Process incoming insurance claims for all direct and indirect loans and lines of credit. This may include claims for motor vehicles and/or real estate property

* Adding or removing death and disability insurance, processing the necessary documentation and system maintenance

* Initiating processing for death or disability claims, working with the customer and our internal insurance department

* Process various incoming mail

* Research home equity line of credit payoffs

* Work with customers and title companies to provide payoff information on home equity loans/lines of credit when requested

* All other work as assigned

* Special projects as required



Work Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm



Education:

* High School diploma or equivalent required

* 2 year degree preferred



Preferred applicants will have:

Experience Required:

* Competent skills using Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and Outlook

* Good verbal and written communication skills

* Good time management skills

* Strong customer service skills

* Organizational skills

* Multi-task oriented

* Detail oriented

* Customer Service/Call Center experience

* Previous installment loan or related work experience



Preferred Requirements:

* Experience processing or familiarity with home equity line of credit products

* Experience working with real estate documentation and processes
