Work Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm



The primary responsibility for this position is to create closing documents for consumer purpose real estate transactions. Ensure compliance with department policies while accuracy and production goals are met. All necessary processes for Direct Loans, Home Equity Loans, and Lines of Credit must be handled according to internal departmental procedures. Exemplary customer service to both internal and external customers is expected at all times. Regulations set forth by Commerce Bank's Legal, Compliance and Risk Departments including but not limited to Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX), RESPA and Regulation Z must always be adhered to.



Some of the activities for this position/department are:

* Set-up of file in order for loan documents to be created- entails review of information from various systems as well as oral and written communication with internal customers

* Creation of loan closing documents to be used by branch personnel to close home equity loan product loans with external customers

* Tracking and monitoring of flood insurance policies which requires oral and written communication with both internal and external customers. Ensure NFIP processes and guidelines are followed at all times

* Assist with title review

* All other work as assigned

* Special projects as required



Education Required:

* High School diploma or equivalent

* Prefer: 2 year degree in Business, Finance or Accounting



Skills Required:

* Previous loan servicing experience or banking experience

* Good overall PC skills including spreadsheet and word processing

* Competent skills using Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and Outlook

* Excellent time management

* Good organizational skills

* Multi-task oriented

* Detail oriented

* Good verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining accuracy

Preferred Skills:

* Familiarity of real estate lending documentation and processes
