Content Management Developer with Drupal

The Public Sector Healthcare group at CGI Federal is looking for an experienced Web Content Management Developer. Candidate should have extensive experience with Drupal Content Management System (CMS) and must know or be willing and able to learn the Percussion Rhythmyx Content Management System. Individual must be highly collaborative and have ability that spans all areas of the customizing the CMS. The candidate will be responsible for:



Development and administration of Web Content Management Systems

Development of integration modules to access data from external systems through the use of web services

Development of approaches for embedding static content from content management system into dynamic content and vice versa

Development of approaches to leverage Web 2.0 capabilities of content management systems to enable content socialization, syndication, blogging and user collaboration

Developing customizations on the Drupal and/or Percussion Rhythmyx web conrtent management systems

Development of Drupal and/or Percussion Rhythmyx customization release packages

Developing CMS Templates

Customizing workflows

Supporting product upgrades

Troubleshooting/resolving system issues

Modification and Creation of release related documentation (webmaster guides, etc.)



Required skills include:



Knowledge of Enterprise data and security-related technologies

oCAS, ASU Webauth, LDAP, EDNA, ASU CEM

Knowledge of data driven, standards based, accessible, usable web application development

oHTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, PHP, Python, MySQL, XML, SOAP, XML-RPC

oMicrosoft Visual Studio/Visual InterDev, J2EE, JAVA, JSP, ASP, VB, .NET

Knowledge of SEO integration, syndication, and performance optimization

Knowledge of Section 508 and accessibiliyt best practices

2+ years experience with Drupal required

Experience customizing Percussion Rhythmyx content management system a plus

Experience implementing a large, frequently updated Website using Drupal and/or Percussion Rhythmyx a big plus

Ability to develop multiple technical approaches and articulate pros and cons and tradeoffs.

Ability to facilitate meetings with client executives to drive towards decisions.
