Job Summary

Pentair is currently seeking a Continuation Engineer to aggressively lead Continuation Engineering projects on post-release pool products and support testing and validation of new products. Interested candidates, who meet the requirements below, are encouraged to apply today!
Duties and Responsibilities:
*
Support consumer product line expansion and existing product line maintenance, as well as product obsolescence, drawing/document recovery, and reverse engineering drawing creation.
*
Coordinate with the cross functional groups to ensure accurate and timely resolution of any issues impacting safety, quality, delivery, or product development.
*
Participate in cross-functional weekly Process Change Order (PCO) meetings.
*
Oversee Process Engineering Change Orders to release or modify parts or products.
*
Seamlessly Integrate with all other cross-functions: Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Customer Support, Lab and Quality.
*
Lead regulatory requirement activities involving listings, product changes, testing, re-designs, and improvements with third party agencies. (NSF, IAPMO, UL, CSA, ETL, CE,.. etc.)
*
Lead the team with troubleshooting and field support of products as required (may involve travel)
*
Prepare design analysis and project update reports to communicate project status.
*
Create, update, and dimension a wide variety of drawings for design, fabrication, and assembly of quality Pentair products using Solid Works 2D and 3D modeling software.
*
Maintain accurate post-release drawing package, Bill of Material (BOM), and product specifications.
*
Champion timely Engineering product changes, re-designs, and improvements to existing products through assigned PCO s (Process Change Order).
*
Maintain Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA) throughout the product lifecycle.



Job Requirements & Skills

*
Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other related fields of study
*
3+ years of previous experience as a Sustaining Engineer, Project Engineer in technical Cross-Functional manufacturing environment preferred
*
3+ years of SolidWorks experience
*
Knowledge and experience with GD&T/ ANSI Y14.5
*
Regulatory experience and knowledge; NSF, IAPMO, UL, CSA, ETL, CE,.. etc.)
*
