GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Continuous Improvement intern will be working with the Continuous Improvement leader within the Campbell Americas supply chain to help support the various initiatives that improve safety, quality, cost, and service. The Continuous Improvement intern will collect, analyze, recommend, and implement improvements for the various projects assigned at the start of the internship. This position is based out of Campbell's world headquarters but may require some travel to manufacturing plants in order to complete projects. Assigned projects may incorporate any of the following functional areas: Commercialization, Transportation, Warehousing, Procurement, Network Optimization, or Engineering.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Executing projects focused on delivering improved results in cost, quality, safety or service; or design and installation of capital improvements

* Interfacing with key systems and contacts to obtain key operational data

* Analysis of data to generate operational recommendations

* Presentation of findings and recommendations

Must be able to communicate at multiple levels in the organization to obtain data and influence decision-making

Must have the ability to draw conclusions and recommendations with incomplete data

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum education required: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business
*

GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred
*

Years of relevant experience: Prior internship or co-op experience desirable, but not required
*

Knowledge, skills and abilities required:

*

Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem solving abilities
*

Superior written and verbal communication skills
*

Ability to lead cross-functional teams and to influence without authority
*

Capability to both work independently and collaboratively with others
*

Good planning, prioritizing, and organizational skills, as well as being able to manage competing deadlines

This Supply Chain position will be located in Camden, NJ.

Manufacturing and Operations & Engineering Intern roles are also available at plant locations across the country.
