Our client has multiple Construction Contract Administrator positions available in the Sacramento area. In this role you will be responsible for reviewing third party agreements to ensure compliance with invoicing requirements for a very large scale construction project here locally.

Position Duties:
?Provide expenditures report to contract managers and executive management
?Monitor utilization of SB/DVBE subcontractors and suppliers for attainment of applicable contract participation goal
?Update invoice cover sheet when consultants and new sub-consultants
?Perform invoice review for approval to verify the following details:
oInvoice is on company letterhead and matches the contract name
oInvoices are correctly addressed to appropriate company accounting office
oCertification of copies have full signatures
oSubmitted invoice match contract payment provisions. Hourly rates are billed correctly and staff are approved to complete work for the Authority
oServices rendered occurred during the service period and contract period
oDirect costs are eligible and supported with a receipt
oSupporting documentation is in the same order as costs listed
oInvoice roll-up is directly tied to invoice and is accurate
oInvoice does not exceed contract capacity
oInvoice does not exceed budgeted annual work plan & Notice to Proceed amount
oStaff rates comply with approved Master Resources Pool
oTravel was preapproved

?Produce basic accounting/invoice tracking reports and spreadsheets using MS Excel

?Maintain project files, following appropriate document control procedures

?Update and maintain data in the Contract Management Tracking System
Required Experience:

?Minimum of 2 years accounting or project accounting associated with the project management of large engineering or construction programs
?Ability to identify pertinent information and create documents that present relevant information clearly
?Experience interfacing directly with clients, public agencies, consultants and technical staff
?Ability to work in a team environment and, also be a self-starter
?Strong organizational skills
?Excellent written and verbal communication skills
?Very detail oriented to ensure accuracy of work
?Advanced MS Office skills (Strong Excel is a MUST!)
?Experience working with accounting software
?2-3 years related experience in the construction/engineering industry

Education Requirements:
?Associates Degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
