JOB DESCRIPTIONAn Audio Visual Production company is actively seeking a Contract Recruiter to support their Talent Acquisition's department. The Contract Recruiter will be responsible for the full life cycle recruitment of exempt and non-exempt positions for various locations within the organization. The recruiter will collaborate with hiring managers to create effective strategies for filling positions with high quality candidates. The recruiter?s primary responsibility will be to fill high-volume, multiple region, exempt and non-exempt openings. Key Job Responsibilities Include:
? Responsible for sourcing, interviewing and selecting non-exempt candidates for consideration and placement into available openings.
? Review the posted positions with the various regional managers to understand location specific requirements.
? Develop a strategy for sourcing candidates including posting to various internet sites as well monitoring the intranet and various external sources.
? Search job boards, internal recruiting system, and college job sites for qualified candidates resumes.
? Develop relationship with key external contacts for candidate referrals and to create a pipeline of candidates.
? Coordinate and manage job fairs within assigned region.
? Follow up with hiring managers regarding candidate status and to provide feedback regarding the hiring decision.
? Advise candidates regarding the status of their application.
? Utilize applicant tracking system to manage candidates and run reports.
? Generate offer letters and lead candidate through the pre-employment testing process.
? BS/BA degree (preferably in Human Resources)
? 1-2 years recent experience in full cycle recruiting in a services or related industry
? Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet based software systems
? Effective comprehension, listening, interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
? Excellent time management and organizational skills
? Strong attention-to-detail with ability to multi-task while maintaining commitment to quality
? Team player with ability to work well independently and interface with diverse population
