(Contract) Research Associate, In vitro Bioanalysis, Onkaido

POSITION SUMMARY

Onkaido is looking for a talented and motivated (Contract) Research Associate, In vitro Bioanalysis to assist with the evaluation and validation of new mRNA-based therapeutics for cancer. The successful candidate will primarily work with in vitro bioanalytical systems, evaluate samples from in vivo studies, and help characterize test articles such as lipid nanoparticles. Applicants should be both great team members and be able to work independently after suitable training. The ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with others, as well as a passion for drug discovery are required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Collect, archive, process and organize samples, including those from in vivo studies, for downstream analyses

* In vitro cellular assays and biochemical analysis of samples from in vivo studies.

* Characterization of test articles for in vitro and in vivo studies.

* Development and validation of cellular models to test various mRNA therapeutics

* Deliver reproducible and impactful results under ambitious timelines

* Execute and troubleshoot standard protocols, adapt new protocols into practice with little assistance, and query literature to incorporate additional assays as needed

* Independently plan experiments

* Analyze, interpret and present data

* Faithfully document scientific work

* Contribute to reports, regulatory submissions and presentations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* B.S. in a biological, analytical or pharmaceutical science with 2 years relevant, full-time experience; or M.S. with a degree in biological, analytical or pharmaceutical science.

* Solid background in tumor biology.

* Expertise in cell-based and biochemical assays

Familiarity with tissue processing for downstream analyses

Familiarity with chromatographic analysis techniques

Demonstrable excellence in laboratory techniques

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* B.S. in a biological, analytical or pharmaceutical science with 2 years relevant, full-time experience; or M.S. with a degree in biological, analytical or pharmaceutical science.

Demonstrated experience with tissue processing for downstream analyses * Demonstrated experience with chromatographic analysis techniques
