Job Description

Position: Regional ownership and direction of the Mainstreet Commercial carpet brands (Philadelphia Commercial and Queen Commercial) as part of the Residential Division. The majority of time spent will be with designers selling our commercial brands and building customer relationships. Must have ability to make sound decisions based on customer, company, and associate needs. A sales specialist will conduct themselves professionally in the workplace and in the community. Responsibilities:
- Accountable for regional commercial net sales growth, contribution dollar growth and sample expense.
- Account responsibility for the 'pure' commercial accounts in his/her region.
- Accountable for the commercial sales growth of territory.
- Support the Regional Manager in continuous coaching and development of Retail Territory Managers.
- Execution of the corporate, divisional and regional contract initiatives.
- Develop deep understanding of Philadelphia Commercial/Queen Commercial's multiple customer types including Dealer, End Use, and A&D
- Lead product knowledge training related to Philadelphia Commercial and Queen Commercial brands
- Continuously build and develop relationships with key commercial customers, end users and A&D firms.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Regional Manager or Divisional Commercial Manager.
- Perform required duties with a minimum of expenses.
- Attend and actively participate in meetings as assigned.
- Accept assignments that require additional training.
- Dress professionally and adhere to the company dress code. Required:
- High school diploma / GED is required.
- 1 year carpet industry sales experience required. Preferred:
- 4 year college degree
- Team player that can exemplify professionalism, work well under pressure, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive issues is preferred.
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills is preferred.
