Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years related experience or Law degree and 1-2 years' experience; prime contract procurement responsibilities preferred.Working knowledge of the FAR DFARs and other Government regulations required.Active government security clearance is required for this position. Only United States citizens can apply.Relocation is not available for this position.

Participates in and/or conducts proposal preparation contract and subcontract negotiation contract and subcontract administration and customer contract & subcontract activities to support the full acquisition life-cycle from proposal to closeout for various government agencies and commercial customers. Provides assistance as required during internal and external audit requirements with an emphasis on proposal contract and subcontract compliance.Essential Functions Integral part of the proposal team working with individuals and cross-functional groups throughout the proposal process. Examines cost estimates of material equipment services production costs performance requirements and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to submission. Negotiates terms and conditions of awards (contract price type FAR/DFAR clauses etc.) and monitors them for compliance with established standards. Provides assessment and input for price structure and formatting of proposals to meet internal guidelines and external requirements. Administers contracts and subcontracts from inception to completion and assists Closeout Specialist with final documentation. Advises program and engineering personnel on all matters related to contractual requirements and internal status and reporting. Works with Accounting/Sponsor to resolve disputes with outstanding invoices. Creates and manages contracts and subcontracts entry and all modifications in PeopleSoft. Maintains and updates statuses to control chargeability within various departments and in accordance with contractual allowability. Collaborates with Finance Accounting and Programs to resolve ERP issues.
