Client prefers a professional highly knowledgeable with Federal and State Contracts! If you have experience from a Public Agency, Federal, State, City or Government related Industry then this would be a perfect position for you! Keys to success in this dynamic organization is having a Bachelor's Degree (B.A../B.S) from a four-year University in Administration, Business Administration or related field and a minimum of five years of experience in performing contract administration work or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Will be responsible for supervising the activities of purchasing department staff relative to review and preparation of contract documents and ensure files are documented in accordance with acceptable Federal, State and Agency policies and procedures. Will also be relied upon to develop, implement, negotiate and administer agency contracts for goods, services and major projects. These agencies may be low, moderate or high risk to the Agency or the end using department. Need to have the strong ability to make sound judgment and the ability to identify, assess, analyze and resolve issues that may arise.
