Controller, ACR Image Metrix Job Type: Full Time Location: Philadelphia, PA Job Description: CONTROLLER, ACR IMAGE METRIX ACR Image Metrix (w.acr imagemetrix.net) is a leading imaging CRO (Contract Research Organization) providing imaging trial design and techniques, data extraction, and analysis services to pharmaceutical and medical device companies. It is unique in the fact it is a wholly owned, subsidiary of the American College of Radiology (w.ACR.org). ACR Image Metrix provides unique access to world renowned medical and technical experts in order to integrate the most cutting edge technologies and modalities into clinical studies. ACR Image Metrix provides access to a state of the art imaging core lab, located in Philadelphia at our Clinical Research Center. Services offered by ACR Image Metrix span from protocol design and general consulting, to full imaging CRO project services through our state of the art core imaging laboratory. ACR Image Metrix was created in 2007 and is already partnering with over 30 pharmaceutical, biotech and device manufacturing companies across multiple trials in oncology, CNS, musculoskeletal and cardiovascular. The Controller will provide financial and strategic guidance to promote effective decision making while aggressively pursuing process improvement initiatives within the organization. As a member of the ACR Image Metrix team you will: . Ensures ACR Image Metrix financials are accurate and in full conformity with GAAP . Assesses, develops, maintains and improves systems to increase the efficiency of proposal and contract budget preparation, industry budget preparation, annual department budgets, cost modeling, accounting methods and business plans . Oversees management of budgets, cost and general accounting, accounts receivable and payable, while controlling expenses effectively . Ensures timely development of all budgeting aspects of projects, including but not limited to supplements and special projects . Provides financial reports to executive management regarding the condition of projects by regularly collecting, interpreting, and reporting key financial data . Communicates regularly with the CEO and CFO, ACR Image Metrix about the financial condition of the contract research organization Successful candidates will have 4+ years of related experience. Imaging Contract Research Organization (CRO) or biopharmaceutical finance experience desired. Experience with Great Plans and FRx is highly desired. This position typically requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Master's degree is preferred. Proficiency with MS Office is essential with particularly stron Excel skills. This position requires effective interpersonal, presentation, organizational, communication skills (both written and verbal), and possess the ability to work effectively with teams.
