span span style='color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-family:Times New Roman;font-size:12pt;font-weight:normal;font-style:normal;' Controller/Finance Leader position with a Global Pharmaceutical Company located in Princeton, NJ. br   br The Controller job requires 8 to 15 years of hands on accounting and finance experience with a medium size publicly traded pharmaceutical company.  Offering great potential with an exciting and dynamic company.  The company is looking for a business partner and wants a candidate who can be on the strategic executive team. br   br Responsibilities for the Controller job: br   /span br ul
li Partner with the CEO, Senior Management team on all operational and strategic issues as they  arise; provide strategic recommendations to the CEO based on financial analysis and projections, cost identification and allocation, revenue/expense analysis and profit optimization. /li /ul

li Participate in the ongoing strategic planning process as an integral member of the senior management team. /li /ul
  br ul
li Oversee long-term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with the strategic plan. /li /ul
  br ul
li Develop and manage annual budget and monitor progress and present operational metrics both internally and externally as needed. /li /ul
  br ul
li Manage financial and operational reporting, accounting operations, payroll, purchasing, and cash and inventory control functions. /li /ul
  br ul
li Oversee accounting staff and adjust team as business needs dictate. /li /ul
  br ul
li Increase income and decrease expenses through strategic planning, operational oversight and stringent financial analysis. /li /ul
  br ul
li Development and track departmental budgets and reforecasts. /li /ul
  br ul
li Ensure that finance staff maintains record systems in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and monitor the use of all funds. /li /ul

li Lead annual capital planning budget development and oversees all tracking of capital improvements/expenses and reimbursement. /li /ul

li Review of all external reporting forms: 10-K, 10-Q, Proxy and Registration Statements /li /ul

li Research of accounting procedures and ensuring adherence to U.S. GAAP /li /ul
  br ul
li Recruit, hire, train and manage finance team including controller, AP clerk and revenue control team. /li /ul

li BS Accounting/Finance, CPA is required, MBA is a plus    /li li 8 to 15 years of experience – pharmaceutical experience a plus   /li li Must have very strong accounting/finance skills, as well as the ability to analyze various aspects of financial statements, P&L and gross margins     /li li The ideal candidate will be able to make sound business decisions as they relate to the balance sheet and the profit & loss statements.
