span B Here’s the gist /B : br   br Globally traded tech company operating in over 37 countries is seeking an accounting manager to manage the accounting functions for their North America division out of their San Fernando Valley office. The manager will responsible for the financial oversight and accounting functions including the close processes for their US division as well as their Canadian division. br   br B What you’ll do: /B br B   /B br • Manage the North America monthly, quarterly and year-end close process to meet company objectives and deadlines, while complying with internal control requirements. br • Responsible for consolidation of subsidiary financial statements and ensuring that all intercompany transactions are appropriately identified and recorded br • Collaborate with operational departments to address issues, processes and projects impacting the general ledger and provide guidance on treatment of transactions. br • Assist Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Accounts Payable on issues or activity affecting the general ledger br   br B You should have: /B br B   /B br • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP principles br • Experience managing direct reports br • Detail oriented with exceptional analytical and organizational skills br • Ability to work independently br • Handle multiple tasks/projects at once and meet daily/monthly deadlines. br • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. br • Proficient in Microsoft office products (Excel, Word, Power Point, and Access) br • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, high volume environment br • Strong initiative, ownership, and teamwork skills br • Effective verbal and written communication skills br • Organized with strong attention to detail br   br B Your Education and Experiential should include: /B br B   /B br • Five or more years of relevant experience, preferably a blend of public/private  accounting br • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting br • Certified Public Accountant br Benefits: br • Free parking, monthly gatherings, stocked kitchen, food trucks, and a pool table br • Upbeat culture, casual dress, small but fun teams, and close to walking trails at the regional shoreline br • Competitive benefits for health, vacation, staff recognition programs, training and more br • 401k match of 25% on the first 6% contributed br   br /span
