Reporting to the CFO, the Controller will work closely with the CEO, CFO, COO and other management team members as well as external auditors to provide timely and comprehensive internal and external financial reporting. The Controller will also, among other things, ensure proper accounting policies and procedures are updated, in compliance, and support the CFO in tax planning, treasury work and financial systems. br   br   br Experience: br Preferred candidates will have an undergraduate degree in accounting or finance, be a certified public accountant, and have progressively challenging professional work experience of at least 6 years including experience with a public accounting firm and a manufacturing company. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish would be helpful with working with the Latin American countries. br   br Responsibilities: br The Corporate Controller responsibilities will include the following: br Ensure proper and timely completion of internal monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (management reporting) as compared to budget and forecasts. br Responsible for maintaining all “corporate” accounts and consolidation of results for the business units. Complete monthly and quarterly detailed account reviews with the subsidiaries, manage intercompany accounts. br Enhance the current consolidation process for international and domestic locations, including completion of cash flow statements, currency translations and intercompany profit and other eliminations.   br Potential to look at implement a new consolidation process using upcoming ERP implementation of with Hyperion. br Responsible for developing standardized reporting formats across businesses, and concise and informative variance analysis (text and numbers) which helps anticipate and manage risks and capitalize on opportunities.   br Primary responsibility for coordinating with the external auditors and preparation of external annual audited financial statements.   br Responsible for optimizing cash flow and preparing and analyzing ongoing consolidated cash forecasts. Work with operating subsidiaries to optimize management of accounts receivable and accounts payable and standardize AR and AP policies. br Provide ongoing Treasury support (manage daily banking activities, cash sweeps, bank reconciliations, interest rates, swaps, etc.) and complete monthly and quarterly bank reporting. br Responsible for tax planning for corporate and legal entities. Insure compliance with filing/remittance requirements under federal and provincial income and capital tax laws, internal controls in addition to any other statuary reporting obligations.  Responsible for insuring compliance with new reporting requirements. br Required to have the ability to complete tax provision, current and deferred.  Working directly with the controllers and our external tax advisors to streamline the process and provide quarterly journal entries for the divisions. br Working with operating Controllers, responsible of managing maintaining and improving Financial Systems (G/L, AP, AR, payroll, Time and Attendance, Cost Accounting, etc.) throughout company. br Participate in the process of evaluating and implementing a new financial systems throughout the company and all operating subsidiaries. br Prepare and standardize financial presentation material for reporting to the Board of Directors. br Responsible for
