JOB DESCRIPTION

APPLY
The Controller directs the financial affairs of the organization and prepares financial analyses of operations, including interim and final financial statements with supporting schedules, for the guidance of management. The Controller is responsible for the company's financial plans and policies, its accounting practices, the conduct of its relationships with lending institutions and the financial community, the maintenance of its fiscal records, and the preparation of financial reports. The position involves supervision over general accounting, property accounting, cost accounting, and budgetary controls.

QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

Must have previous management experience
*

Must be a team-player working toward a central goal

Expert in Microsoft Office, specifically in Excel
*

Comfortable working in accounting software on a daily basis
*

Must have attention to detail
*

Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal skills

Must have customer service skills
*

Must be able to meet multiple project deadlines

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

*

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field

Experience:

*

10 years of progressive experience in financial management

License/Certifications:

CPA Certification

Healthcare and revenue cycle experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

*

Directs and manages the organization's accounting principles, practices and procedures for maintenance of its fiscal record keeping.
*

Appraises operating results in terms of costs, budgets, trends and increased profit opportunities.
*

Primary responsibility for annual audits.
*

Responsible for monitoring working cash flow.
*

Serves as liaison with external consultant for all tax related impact.
*

Responsible for financial statement preparation.
*

Manages, develops and continually improves financial system controls.
*

Other duties as assigned.
