JOB DESCRIPTIONThis position supports ARLANXEO a newly established joint venture between LANXESS - a world-leading specialty chemicals company - and Saudi Aramco - a major global energy and chemicals enterprise.
The two partners each hold a 50-percent interest in the joint venture. The business operations of ARLANXEO are assigned to the High Performance Elastomers and Tire & Specialty Rubbers business units.

ARLANXEO was established in April 2016 as a joint venture of LANXESS and Saudi Aramco.

As a Corporate Comm Mgr you will:
* Set and support the corporate communication for ARLANXEO, its affiliates and Business Units within the U.S. and Canada. * Serve as a regular interface with the media and general public in exchanging information about the organization, its interests and concerns. Serves as contact for incoming communication from the media and general public. * Direct and provide proactive environmental and crisis communication and handles communications activities to appropriately handle crisis situations. * Support the development and implementation of regional proactive, integrated market communication initiatives that support the ARLANXEO Business Units including public relations, branding, advertising, tradeshows, intranet and internet. * Establish communication with elected officials and various government agencies. * Prepare communications such as news releases, speeches, publications, or events.
In order to accomplish this you will possess:
* A Bachelor of Science degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or Marketing; Master's degree in Communications or related discipline is preferred. * 5- 10 years of relative experience in media relations and crisis/emergency response communication. * A native English speaking candidate is preferred. * Leadership and International experience a plus.
