Responsibilities:The Corporate Environmental Director's primary responsibilities include providing guidance and assistance to operating location and corporate management and staff to ensure the operations comply with applicable state, federal, and local environmental laws and regulations. The Corporate Environmental Director will have strong working knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations and compliance requirements.The Corporate Environmental Director will collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance needs are properly identified and resolved.
Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years' experience in related field.
Other Information:Ability to research and comprehend various complex environmental laws and regulations Ability to translate complex environmental regulatory requirements and apply them in practical business applications Ability to perform practical, business compliance oriented environmental audits at company locations Understand and perform appropriate and necessary mathematical calculations Ability to explain complex environmental regulatory requirements to location and corporate managers Ability to develop and implement standard operating procedures Ability to develop training content for various environmental compliance programs Be able to solicit and capitalize on location compliance assistance with compliance
