Job Description
Overview:
Pay Range:
$25,000 - $32,000
Provides support to the corporate benefits, human resources, training and recruiting disciplines. Handles requests and inquiries from employees and vendors related to key functional human disciplines. Responsibilities have emphasis on employee support, benefits, recruiting, and administrative duties.Responsibilities:
Benefits Support
- Assists employees with benefits questions
- Processes manual check requests for monthly billing
- Maintains paperwork for life status events and beneficiaries
- Assists with monthly and quarterly audits
- Assists with wellness program initiatives
General Support
- Maintains all required postings throughout corporate
- Assists the Corporate Manager of HR and the Sr. Dir of Comp & Benefits on monthly reporting requirements
- Tracks and updates all information related to the Rural Metro Hotline
- Assists the Corporate Manager of HR with data inputs into the HR Portal
- Creates and maintains legal and hotline files
- Codes and processes the HR department invoices - resolves issues with vendors
- Creates and updates the monthly anniversary and birthday list for corporate employees
- Assists with internet research on various subject matters
- Maintains employee files and I-9's
HRIS Support
- Processes new hire, terminations, and data changes for Corporate employees
- Manages user passwords
- Provides general back up support for HRIS administrator
- Manages the quarterly user access audit process
Recruiting, Orientation, and Retention
- Takes phone calls regarding open positions and general company inquiries from recruiters
- Assists the Manager of Talent with posting of job requisitions and maintaining applicant tracking system
- Schedules interviews and coordinates pre-hire process with applicants
- Facilitates new hire orientations and processes new employee paperwork
- Prepares documentation for and sets up new hire orientations
- Prepares monthly recruitment reports
- Enters data to set off exit interviews for all corporate employees that terminate.
- Manages job descriptions in PAM
- Maintains the welcome page message in PAMQualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or human resources preferred
- Human Resources or healthcare experience preferred
- Strong customer service and phone skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships internally and externally
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite - especially Word and Excel
- Effective time and project management skills required
- Minimum typing speed of 50wpm required
- Ability to prepare written reports and correspondences
